GIDUE India: an expected succes
GIDUE INDIA, formed by GIDUE - one of the world’s leader providers of innovative technologies and solutions for the narrow and mid-web printing and packaging industry – and Reifenhäuser India Marketing Limited, has marked its first successes in the Indian territory.
India is one of the emerging and most active areas of the world and the fastest growing print industry after China in the Asia Pacific region. Print market in India is expected to rise at 12,81 billion € by 2008, a growth of 47,5 per cent from 2003.
Three presses have been sold since the start of the cooperation, one has completed installation, two are being currently installed.
First score of GIDUE INDIA, is an E-Combat 370 mm 8 colours equipped with UV lamps made by IST and bound to the production of self-adhesive labels. The customer Interlabels of Mumbai, one of the largest label printer in India established in 1983. Their commitment is to offer “Total Labelling Solutions” to the label industry based on technological innovation, strict quality control and customer satisfaction.
The second press is a S-Combat 370 mm, full UV press sold to customer Maharshi Labels of Ahmedabad, a mid size label printer and label applicator manufacturing company.
Third press, an E Combat- 370 mm 8 colours, full UV press with special configuration, was sold to customer Sel-Jegat Printer based in Sivakasi. The press will be installed during the month of March at the customer premises, one of the largest label printers located in south India, and will print pharmaceutical products.
