GIDUE distributor Rotary Die Company to take part in Poligrafia 2007

GIDUE S.p.A., the Italian manufacturer of printing and converting machines, will take part, in co-operation with its Polish distributor Rotary Die Company, in the Poland’s most important and renowned fair for the printing industry, which will take place at the Poznan International Fair Ltd. from 27-30th March 2007.

Poligrafia 2007 will attract exhibitors both from Poland and from all over the world: international leaders will exhibit their latest products to fulfil customers’ different necessities. The visitors will have the possibility to establish contacts with modern printing technologies and to attend to conferences, seminars and business meetings. Hall 5, booth 117 will host GIDUE S.p.A., the Italian company that offers the widest range of presses to the market: its Quadra™, Combat™ and Athena™ flexo models, together with the new Xpannd™ combined offset/flexo press, perform in fact multiple processes in a number of press widths and configurations to serve the global label and packaging markets.

On booth the attendees will have the possibility to observe live demonstrations on a E-Combat™370 8 colours recently sold to a Polish customer. Drukarnia Malysz, this is the name of the customer, is going to use its new press to print and produce self-adhesive labels, BOPP 38 micron and shrink film sleeve for the Polish beverage market.

The flexibility characterizing the Combat™ line offers the opportunity to look at different and creative solutions. The totally servo-driven tension control, plus the 2 independent servo-drives on all print stations - on the print cylinder and on the impression roller – of the E-Combat™ make the configuration of the press always “open” to any printable substrate. By selecting different tension areas inside the press, it is possible to produce, apart from self adhesive labels, also in-mould, wrap around, booklet labels, yoghurt lids and film packaging among the others. Multi lamination and printing on adhesive of PE up to 4 colours is also possible. In addition to this, the press allows pre-register and register opportunities, which can be very useful in “standardized” working environments, where consistent repeatability independent from operators is needed.

During Poligrafia 2007 the attendees could see a real-time production of shrink film sleeve to be applied on Drukarnia Malysz plastic bottles and will experience the quality, consistency, flexibility, print stability and simplicity of the Combat™ flexo productivity. In the stand, customers. Since its introduction in the global market, in 2002, the “Full Servo” technology has changed many industry standards worldwide, including Poland where GIDUE S.p.A. counts 12 installations and where, at the moment “many companies are experiencing a strong growth” as explains Mr. Leszek Trzaskowski of Rotary Die Company. “The EU has directed a large sum of funds for investment restructuring and many companies can get between 30% to 50% of the cost of the machines back”. This makes Mr. Trzaskowski feel confident in the development potentialities of the Polish market because “many people will be interested in machines they normally wouldn't consider due to lack of capital security”.

GIDUE solutions for the global labels and packaging markets are just what the market needs. Expectations from Poligrafia 2007 are really high.
