Poland likes GIDUE presses better

Turate, 29th January 2008 – The Italian company, with the support of its distributor for the region, ROTARY DIE led by Mr. Leszek Trzaskowski, is making its brand known throughout Poland and has installed 19 printing machines since 2003,– including nine in 2007. That is considerable as only in recent years have bigger groups started to heavily invest in the region and up until now the market was occupied by small, locally-owned companies. Half of our installed machines were purchased last year.

Masterpress, with its seven GIDUE presses, is the first Polish company to have included shrink sleeve labels in their production, serving the flexible packaging market with high quality solutions and diverse possibilities. Thanks to a rational and consistent production strategy, combined with the use of very modern equipment, they are one of the leading packaging producers in the self-adhesive, flexible and laminates market in Poland. High-tech solutions, widely understood innovativeness and flexibility have made it possible to maintain diverse and successful relationships in some foreign markets.

Last year Drukarnia Malysz, another Polish GIDUE customers, decided to invest in GIDUE equipment. Their 370 8-colour E-Combat™ printed shrinkable sleeves for the beverage sector during the last Poligrafia 2007 and made Rotary Die win the Gold Medal at the Show. The high quality of the end product, judged to have the best technological solution, simply translates the features of the printing head of the press: precision, reliability and simplicity in the use.

Among other GIDUE Polish customers are Mal-Pol, a printing company which is growing rapidly and which has two GIDUE presses and are thinking to a third machine, and Eko-Rol, whose 370 8-colour S-Combat™ marks GIDUE’s entrance into the Poznan region.

Alive to innovation and constantly seeking every possible improvement, the Polish market is living a renewal period both in terms of printing equipment and of products. The demand for multi-functional machines finds a significant solution in the GIDUE press range. Customers oriented to inventive and original labelling – mostly film-based – prefer to invest in consistent and reliable equipment. Data show that the preference is towards the Italian flexographic printing and converting machines.
