Digital Flexo™
For the first time in the narrow-web flexo industry, the printer does not manually operate printing and register adjustments. Printing during set-up and production is automatically operated by the press. Digital “eyes” and “fingers” (Print-Tutor™ Camera/Servo combination) on each print unit substitute the hands and eyes of the operator.


Dot gain is “digitally” controlled and adjusted for perfect print quality during production. Wastes are reduced to “digital” numbers (less than 10 meters for 8 colours set up). Press operator can focus on achieving the highest printing quality and the best productivity on the press. With the Digital Flexo™ technology GIDUE introduces a new future of efficiency for the labels and packaging industry.

Digital Flexo technology propose a “new” operator for the labels and packaging industry. Most of the “basic” operations are performed automatically by the press. The press also helps to avoid mistakes in the file management. Operator can concentrate on “top” quality and on productivity.

Print Tutor
A GIDUE HD Digital Camera “reads” a
dedicated mark printed by each unit. It recognizes register deviation and dot gain and informs the servo motors on the press.

Print Tutor Plus
4 mini servo-motors receive data of actual print from the Print Tutor Camera, confronts with the PDF/TIFF file, and corrects the printing pressure and register according to the original file.

Vario Gap
2 mini servo-motors adjust the cutting height of the impression roller to the different thicknesses of the self-adhesive substrates.

Quick Cut
The press performs automatically the waste stripping without any manual support from the operator. Waste stripping is fully automated.
